CCSI named Bronze ‘Partner2Win’ medallion winner by BAE Systems at its sixth annual ‘Partner2Win’ supplier symposium

Custom Cable Solutions, Inc. (CCSI) received a Bronze ‘Partner2Win’ medallion at BAE Systems’ suppler symposium on November 12, 2024, for its exceptional performance and commitment to operational excellence this year. CCSI’s contributions to supply chain success helped BAE Systems ensure quality, on-time deliveries to customers.

“The current conflicts across the globe have mandated faster deliveries and drives for efficiencies for Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen,” said Marc Casseres, vice president of Operations for BAE Systems’ Combat Mission Systems business. “As we continue to ramp, partnering with a supply chain who shares our commitment and passion for the warfighter is table stakes.” 

BAE Systems’ Partner2Win program recognizes suppliers for their achievements in operations, quality and procurement. As part of the program, BAE Systems maintains a close relationship with suppliers and creates an environment to share best practices, learnings and innovative solutions to problems. All suppliers awarded this year were recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty to create the highest quality products for our warfighters.

Nik Stevenson Promoted to Operations Manager of Custom Cable Solutions, Inc.

Custom Cable Solutions, Inc. (CCSI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Nik Stevenson to Operations Manager. As Operations Manager Nik will oversee Engineering/First article departments, Maintenance, and Manufacturing.

Nik has been a successful member of the CCSI team since 2015 when he joined us as the Manufacturing Manager.  Nik has implemented many successful process improvements and will continue to guide CCSI in our continued growth and success.


CCSI and MiSi support General Dynamics Land Systems

Custom Cable Solutions, Inc. today announced that its partner, Maryland Integrated Systems Inc (MiSi), is supporting a large effort for the new and unique General Dynamics Mobile Protected Firepower (MPF) program! The highly lethal, survivable, and mobile direct-fire combat vehicle melds was developed by GDLS and recently developed and battle-tested designs to dominate ground threats on the multi-domain battlefield. The MPF vehicle employs a four-person crew and features an enhanced thermal viewer, a large-caliber cannon, a lightweight hull and turret, and a modern diesel engine, transmission, and suspension system. “We are thrilled and honored to support such an important military program”, said Cathy Webber, Operations Manager of CCSI. “This was a joint effort between both Custom Cable Solutions and Maryland Integrated Systems, and all involved have worked extremely hard to meet and exceed expectations.” The MPF vehicle has been designed from the start for capability upgrades, based on future operational needs, and 504 units are expected to be built.

BAE Systems awards Custom Cable Solutions, Inc. Silver Partner2Win Supplier of the Year Award at its third annual ‘Partner2Win’ Symposium

Custom Cable Solutions, Inc. today announced it received a BAE Systems Silver Partner2Win Supplier of the Year Award based on exceptional performance and contributions to supply chain success in 2021 for BAE Systems’ Combat Mission Systems business. CCSI was recognized for this award by providing 99.85% or higher quality and 98% or higher on-time delivery this year to BAE Systems. CCSI has also supported BAE Systems’ AMPV program as well as PIM, Bradley and a number of weapons systems with power cable assemblies, communications cables and wiring harnesses.

CCSI Now Offers In-House Wire Harness Assembly Testing Per 19207-12465333 Cleaning Specifications

Steam and Water-Jet Testing Capabilities Target Military Land Vehicles and Tanks

Custom Cable Solutions, Inc. (CCSI), a global leader in the manufacturing, design, and engineering of custom/build-to-print cable and wire harness assembly solutions for military applications, today announced the addition of in-house steam and waterjet testing to confirm harnesses’ overall tape binding, overall shield application, and overall outer covering conform to type b, class 1, 19207-12465333 cleaning specifications. Mandated to help safeguard troops on the battlefield, the specification verifies assemblies’ compliance with the US Army Land Vehicle Maintenance Regulations’ environmental and electrical requirements. It is a requisite for cleaning an array of mission-critical cable assemblies employed in land vehicles and tanks, including BAE Systems’ Bradley A4. While each CCSI cable assembly is visually inspected, electrically tested and warranted to meet every drawing/specification prior to shipping, this new in-house testing capability moreover confirms the company’s long-standing commitment to the integrity of the defense industry supply chain.

CCSI’s steam and waterjet testing station is singularly equipped and staffed to assure assemblies’ integrity throughout the cleaning processes required to remove any sand, mud, dirt buildup and corrosives which could degrade vehicles’ performance and subsequently jeopardize the safety of military personnel. The station notably features a NorthStar wet steam and power washer that has been modified to clean cable assemblies to meet and/or exceed 19207-12465333 specifications and employs the required A-A-59133 (high pressure steam), P-D-220, or commercial equivalent cleaner compound. To further assist customers reduce time-to-market and certification costs, CCSI can certify all new assemblies based on their similarity to the fully tested and certified CCSI assembly.

We are excited to have expanded our testing capabilities to minimize assemblies’ costs and time-to-market while optimizing the safety, reliability, and service life of MIL-SPEC products,” he added.


Scott Bozarth Promoted to President of Custom Cable Solutions, Inc.

Custom Cable Solutions, Inc. (CCSI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Bozarth to President, where he will oversee all functional areas of their 25,000 square foot ISO and AS9100 Certified headquarters and manufacturing facility in Salisbury, MD. Scott has a 15-year background in high-volume military electronics production, and was most recently promoted to Director at CCSI in 2018 where he instituted new, innovative and cost-effective manufacturing procedures. Scott has a hands-on knowledge of CCSI’s production protocols, IT systems, and procurement planning which gives him a comprehensive perspective with which to oversee the entire facility. Scott also has a highly personal commitment to optimizing CCSI’s customers’ experience, from initial inquiry through delivery of finished products.
